Tansi! I am proud to be from Canoe Lake Cree First Nation on Treaty 10 Territory and of my paternal roots to Little Pine First Nation on Treaty 6 Territory. My pronouns are she/her and I am a finance major in the final year of my Bachelor of Commerce and my Global Business Stream Certificate. In October 2018, I co-founded the Indigenous Business Students’ Society and that is why I am so happy to be the Logistics Headperson now. Our work on the IBSS is so important to support the community of Indigenous students, help decolonize and work towards reconciliation in our college, and to provide professional and cultural events to the student body. You may also see me in my role on JDC West as the VP Academics where our 2022 team is ready to represent Edwards perfectly! I have been part of the Edwards Business Students’ Society since my first year in post-secondary and although I am not directly a member this year, I am happy to be involved through my headperson role!
Hi everyone, I am entering into my final year of my B.Comm majoring in management with a focus in Finance, and I am super excited to be this year's Headperson of Traditions & Events for the IBSS! The IBSS will be hosting many events for the Indigenous business students here at Edwards and we do this to create a community of support and safe space for all. I am a proud member of Flying Dust First Nation near Meadow Lake, and whenever I am back home I love to go fishing! Other than that I love to cook, volunteer within the Indigenous community, and spend time with my family. I hope everyone has a great school year ahead!
Hey everyone, I am in my final term as a marketing major and really excited to be this year's Headperson of Student Supports for the IBSS. I am from the small town of St. Louis, and a proud member of both the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation and the Metis Nation of Saskatchewan. In my free time I enjoy sports, video games, and cooking. I hope everyone has a great year!
