Madelyn Rawlyk
VP Student Life
Hey! I'm Maddy, a fourth-year marketing major and VP Student Life on the EBSS this year. This is my third year on the EBSS but it feels like the first as my previous two were primarily #virtual. In my current role I am beyond excited to lead a team of all-star directors to bring back 100% in-person and 100% sold-out events. When I'm not planning events (which is rare), you will find me dancing for a Ukrainian dance ensemble, reading books about positive psychology, and making "your mom" jokes at every opportunity. I am, quite possibly, the most extroverted person to ever exist so please feel free to ask me anything, any time, about social events at Edwards, my Netflix recommendations, and Shrek 2.

Reilen Venaas
LB5Q Director
My name is Reilen and I am a 5th (yes, I said 5th) year Marketing Major. This is my 4th year on the EBSS and I am happy to be back planning events for our students IN PERSON. Being a 5th year on campus comes with some perks. No, there is NOT a senior discount, but I have an idea of some of the inner workings of Edwards. I love meeting new people so feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
Taylor Anhorn
LB5Q Director
Hey Edwards peeps! I’m Taylor and a fifth (yikes) year marketing major. I am one of the LB5Q Directors this year and am super stoked to provide y’all with the best party of the year. Although I’ve been part of inter-council clubs before, this is my first year being on the EBSS general council. When I’m not chilling around Edwards you can find me spending too much time in Winners, picking out onions from my food or standing in line at the nearest Tim’s. I have chronic RBF but don’t let that stop you from saying hi or asking questions! Catch ya on the flip side

Jack Friesen
Athletic Director
Hi everyone! I'm Jack and I enjoy staying active. I am excited to get our student body moving this year. Be sure to keep an eye out for our intramural teams next semester. It's a great way to have some fun with your peers!
Emma Lorenz
Formal Events Director
Hi I’m Emma! This is my second year at Edward’s and my first year on the EBSS as the Formal Events Director. I love dancing, parties, and all things fancy! I was a competitive dancer for most of my life in various styles including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and now teach dancers aged two to six. I have lived in Saskatoon my whole life but love traveling and exploring new places. After two years of a restricted social life (thanks miss rona), I’m so excited to meet many new people and make tons of memories this year!!

Rylee Ryan
COMM Night Director
Hey everyone! My name is Rylee Ryan, I’m a third year Finance major and this is my first year on the EBSS! I’m really looking forward to joining the council this year and organizing some super fun events for you guys! A few of my favourite things to do are baking, listening to music, going out with friends, and watching movies. Wolf of Wallstreet is one of my favourites (obviously, I’m in finance). I have lived in Saskatoon my whole life and would one day love to explore all of Europe. Aside from EBSS I’m also on a future champion rec dodgeball team (name undecided) and have been working at a clothing boutique downtown for three years. If you see me around campus, please come say hi and I can’t wait to see all your beautiful faces at Comm Night this year!
Noah Cline
COMM Night Director
Hello ESB! My name is Noah Cline and this is my first term on EBSS. I am one of the directors for a new and upcoming event called COMM Night. A little about myself, I was born and raised in a small town called Houston, Texas. Probably haven’t heard of it before, but if you haven’t visited before I would definitely recommend going at least once. My high school years, I had went to a school just outside of Regina called Athol Murray College of Notre Dame and played a little hockey there. When I heard the news that I had received this position, I was very excited. I wanted to do something for the Edwards school as a whole, so why not have a night dedicated to us! I hope to see everyone there and if you ever see me walking through the halls please feel free to come say hi.

Ben Martin
Social Events Director
Hey Edwards! My name is Ben Martin, this is my first year on the EBSS and I am pumped to be one of your Social Event Directors for the upcoming party season. I'm a second year student here at Edwards and I can't wait to take on this role and plan some of the biggest events this school has ever seen. Few things about myself is I was born and raised in Calgary and spent my whole life there being active and playing sports like hockey, baseball and golf. I went 1st overall in the draft for the life of the party, and I came to Saskatoon to forge some future draft picks. I love making new friends and putting myself out there so if you see me in the halls gimme a shout! I look forward to meeting all you party animals in the halls and on the dance floor!
Halle Sereda
Social Events Director
Hello! My name is Halle Sereda and I am one half of the Social Events Directors. I'm in my second year at Edwards and my first year on the EBSS! In my spare time (which is virtually non-existent), I enjoy hanging out with friends and family and travelling as much as possible. I love meeting new people, which is why I'm so excited to be on the EBSS this year. Fun fact about me: I know way too much about Disney (get me on your team for any Disney Trivia, I promise we'll win). I hope to see lots of new faces at our events this year!

Savanna Taylor
Formal Events Coordinator
Hey everyone, my name is Savanna Taylor, and I am a first-year student here at Edwards. I am super excited to start my role as the Formal Events Coordinator for the student life portfolio! A few of my favourite things are sports, hunting and fishing, anything outdoors and having a good time with good people! When I’m not studying to pass COMM 104, you’ll likely find me in a small-town curling rink or mourning another disappointing year as a Montreal Canadiens fan. I am super excited to plan and take part in everything the EBSS is working on this year, it’s going to be a party so don’t miss out! I love meeting new people and exchanging life stories or talking about how the Chiefs did in Sunday night football, so if you ever see me in the hallway or the Tim Horton’s line-up, please feel free to introduce yourself, I’d love to meet you!
Atley Hetchler
Internal Events Coordinator
Hi ESB, I’m Atley! I am a first year Edwards student and I have been gifted with the opportunity to work as the Internal Event Coordinator! As for a little about myself, I’ll hold the door open for you if you’re behind me but be wary of my kind demeanour because I’ll destroy you in Call of Duty. I love playing volleyball and will accept any opportunity to do so. I used to be a 3rd year Kinesiology student but decided I would rather not be a Personal Trainer and wear sweat pants, a tight tee-shirt and a windbreaker for the rest of my life. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone this year!

Sam Fortune
Formal Events Coordinator
Hi everyone! My name is Sam and I am one of the Grad Coordinators this year! This is my first year at Edward’s aa well as my first year on the EBSS. I’m looking forward to planning and enjoying all of the fun events EBSS hosts throughout the year. I am especially exited to plan Grad! I was super into sports for most of my life which included volleyball, basketball, badminton, track, and my personal favourite tackle football! I have also been apart of Army Cadets since I was 12 and I still manage to find time in my busy schedule for it. I can’t wait to meet so many new people this year and learn what university is all about :)
